About the Practitioners

About me:
I have been in the holistic health industry for over 20 years - initially studying 10 years full time then over a decade in private practice. I have also been a lecturer at University in the faculty of Osteopathy both at RMIT and Vic Uni. I am also the author of a textbook in the field of Homoeopathy called the "Homoeopathy Colouring Book" which is used internationally and is in it's 2nd Edition of print. I have spoken to many groups in the community over the years educating the public about better self care and Osteopathy.
My role at RMIT was first as a clinical tuitor for 6 years then lectured in my own subject. I constructed my own syllabus in diagnosis - helping the students to put together the complete picture and make sure they were safely and accurately diagnosing. I also clinically tuitored at Victoria University for 2 years.
In my years as a student in my final year at RMIT I ended up 2nd top in my class in the oral and viva voce clinical practicums.
I worked part time for 5 years with Dr. Stephen Sexton in Caulfield while I was in the initial phases of establishing my own practice which I have now been doing for 12 years since Uni.
I have worked with Dr. Alain Rose (GP) in his practice for 9 years where I was called upon to discuss many diagnoses with our mutual clients and also deal directly with a number of Doctors - most noteworthy being the preferred Osteopath to treat the staff at the Alfred Hospital by the head of the Occupational health division at the Alfred Hospital Dr. Jane Wadsley.
I also worked in the Alfred Hospital taking the Osteopathic students at Victoria University through the wards treating patients.
I am a state registered Osteopath, State registered Acupuncturist and a fully qualified Naturopath. My passion is to view the body as a whole and as a result I utilise many modalities when I treat. I use a postural structural and cranial approach to both diagnosis and treatment. I also continue to learn and evolve as a practitioner by attending regular ongoing professional educational seminars.
